Ernie’s wife Lorraine has been a professional Photographer for more than 30 years, receiving
her Craftsman in 1994 and her Master degree in 1996. Lorraine has a natural gift with children
that help Ernie to be able to capture the innocence of children. Together they have won numerous
awards. Ernie has received 19 of the Prestigious Kodak Gallery Awards & 16 Fuji Masterpiece awards
and has 68 Print merits with 12 of them being Loan Images. He also has a total of 435 National Merits.
In their program Ernie will cover the Basics Of Portrait Lighting and Advanced Lighting
so you are comfortable with whatever situation you come across. Ernie has the training
taught by Leon Kennamer and the 30+ years of experience using no flash or strobe outside,
using only reflectors and getting exactly what you want at the time of exposure. We
will teach how to work with children at all ages and have the clients calling before
their set time to see if their images are ready for viewing. Lorraine will teach how to
work with children, how to get the natural expression without the child even knowing their
being photographed. With lots of hands on work so you can feel confident when you return to
your studio, they will also teach posing of teens to adults, families and bridals.
They will give you their technique of how to make the sale during the sitting -- for a large portrait.
They will teach you how their children's program works and keeps parents coming back every year, even if the economy is bad.
